Growth Hawaii LLC ("we") runs growthhawaii.com and the ad and booking pages that link here, from Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. This page says what we collect, why, who sees it, and how to reach us about it.

What we collect

If you send the Talk to Christian request, we get your name, your phone number, your business name and what you told us you want more of. If you book a call, you book it through Calendly, our booking service, and we get your name, email, the time you picked, your answers to the booking questions and, for a phone call, your phone number. If you came to book from one of our ads or from a link on Facebook or Instagram, we also keep which ad it was and the tracking code the platform adds to the link, so we can tell which ads bring real conversations. If you call, text or email us, we get what you send.

Why we collect it

To answer you, to set up and keep the call you asked for, to know who you are if you come back, to see which of our ads bring real conversations and real clients, and, if you become a client, to do the work. For nothing else.

Who sees it

Christian and the people who work with him at Growth Hawaii. It also passes through the tools we run the business on: our phone and text service, our email, our booking and contact software, and the company that hosts this site. By name: calls and texts go through Christian's own mobile phone; our email and calendar are Google Workspace; Calendly runs the scheduler on our booking page, keeps each booking (with the ad's tracking code, if you came from one), sends your confirmation and puts the call on Christian's calendar, and it sets its own cookies in your browser when the scheduler loads, under Calendly's own privacy notice; if you pick a Zoom call, Zoom hosts it; GoHighLevel keeps our contact list, including requests sent through our website's request form; Supabase is the database that keeps our record of each booking and request; Vercel hosts our pages; and GitHub keeps the backup copy of our business records. Meta also gets some information from our ad and booking pages, and Meta and Google may hear from us when a booking came from one of their ads, as "Ads and measurement" below explains.

What we don’t do

We don't sell or rent your name, number, email or answers, and we don't give them to any other business for its marketing. What our pages and our own system tell Meta and Google about our ads is explained under "Ads and measurement" below. Text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.

Texts

We text you only if you gave us your number on a booking or a request, texted us first, or are a client, and only about that. Saying yes to texts is never a condition of buying anything. If someone gave us your number without asking you, reply STOP and we'll never text it again. Reply STOP at any time to stop, or HELP for help. The details are on our terms page.

Ads and measurement

Our ad and booking pages use the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram: the video page our ads link to and our booking pages, whether you came from an ad or from this site. When you open one of them, your browser tells Meta which page you opened, its address (which can include the ad's tracking code), your IP address and basic facts about your browser and device. When you tap the Book button on the video page, it tells Meta you started a booking, and when your booking is confirmed, it tells Meta a booking happened. The pixel sets a cookie in your browser, and Meta may connect what it gets to your Facebook or Instagram account. Meta uses it to measure our ads and to choose who sees ads, ours and others'. The pixel can't see what you type into the booking form: not your name, phone number, email or answers.

When you book, our own system may also tell Meta and Google directly that a booking came from one of their ads, and later whether you became a client, so we can see which ads bring real clients. Meta may get the time, the ad's click code, the cookie its pixel set, basic facts about your browser, and your email scrambled (hashed) first so Meta can match it to an account; never your phone number. Meta may use what we send this way as it uses what the pixel sends: to measure our ads and to choose who sees ads, ours and others'. Google gets the ad's click code, the time, whether it was a booking or a new client, and a booking reference number; none of your contact details.

To limit how Meta uses this for ads, use the settings in your Meta Accounts Center on Facebook or Instagram, where Meta lets you control how it uses activity from other businesses, or the industry opt-out at optout.aboutads.info. Blocking cookies in your browser limits what Meta can connect to you, but your browser still tells Meta which page you opened. Our other pages, including this one, run no analytics.

How long we keep it

If you never become a client, then 12 months after we last heard from you, we erase you from Calendly, from Christian's calendar and from our contact software, and stop using what we hold about you. Calendly's erase removes your name and answers, replaces your email with a random one, and keeps the date, time and time zone that was booked. Our database keeps a short record that you booked or asked (your name or business name, number, email, kind of business, island, when, and the ad's tracking code if you came from one) as our log of what happened, and we never use that record to contact you. If you ask us to stop, your number goes on our do-not-contact list, so we never contact you again. If you become a client, we keep what we need for as long as we work together, and then for as long as our tax records require.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by email or phone. We answer the same business day. When you ask us to delete it, we erase you from Calendly, from Christian's calendar and from our contact software; Calendly keeps the date, time and time zone that was booked and a random stand-in for your email, and the short record described under "How long we keep it" stays in our log and is never used to contact you.

Client ad accounts

For clients, ad accounts live in the client’s own name. We access them only to do the work, and we remove our access when the work ends.
